The CJR Model encourages hospitals, physicians, and post-acute care providers to work together to improve the quality and coordination of care for patients undergoing lower extremity joint replacements. As part of this contract, DAS Federal and Hendall support several technical and programmatic tasks, including operating an inquiry response center that provides technical support for model participants, ensuring consistent messaging and communications for participants, prospective participants, providers, and any other population identified by the Government. The team provides intake, processing, and tracking of required data and model documentation from participating providers, as well as content review, editorial support, and Section 508 compliance reviews and remediation for model documents and participant forms. Additionally, DAS Federal and Hendall provide a variety of webinar services, including set-up, hosting, and post-webinar data analytics and reporting.





Actionable Data for Cancer Research

DAS Federal and Hendall support protocol development for effective management of clinical trials, which are essential for improving health outcomes and a critical component of NCI’s leading-edge cancer research. DAS Federal and Hendall abstract and present key information that assists managers in making informed and timely decisions; inform and educate stakeholders regarding NCI programs, policies, and objectives related to clinical trial development and management; and enable timeline analyses and scheduled and ad hoc reporting about resource allocation, goal setting, and CTEP business activities.

OIMT provides world-class IT technologies and services to the FDA community and develops and communicates the overall vision, mission, values, and roadmap for IT at FDA. DAS Federal provides operations and maintenance and enhancement support for the FDA IT Automation project across the FDA on-premises and cloud enterprise environments. This includes such services as project management, automation infrastructure support, automated configuration management and software installation/distribution, and automated deployment and server provisioning.

Hendall supports QSOG QSED’s mission to ensure the quality of healthcare delivery by providing instructional systems design, content creation, and training product development for the more than 10,000 surveyors who conduct quality inspections of healthcare facilities nationwide. Hendall also designs, develops, and operates a custom-built, cloud-hosted, web-based learning management system—the Quality, Safety & Education Portal—to host and deliver training courses and allow learners to track progress and course completion records.





Advancing the Behavioral Health of the Nation

Hendall is currently supporting SAMHSA’s vital mission through the operation of several programs. Hendall provides the public and other stakeholders with one-stop, quick access to substance misuse and mental illness prevention, treatment, and recovery information, materials, and services, including 24/7 operation of SAMHSA’s National Helpline; produces and disseminates information, data, and products conveying evidence-based practices to the behavioral health workforce and other providers; supports the collection and reporting of substance use and mental health services nationwide, including conducting data collection and analysis activities and operating and enhancing SAMHSA’s Treatment Locator; and supports the press office in media advisory and press release activities.





Serving the Head Start and Early Head Start Community

Head Start programs enhance the multifaceted development of enrolled children through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social, and other services. Hendall operates the Head Start Information and Communications Center (HSICC), which provides critical policy, guidance, and technical assistance to Head Start programs, prospective parents, the early childhood community, and the public. Through HSICC, Hendall operates a customer service center that receives and responds to inquiries via phone, email, and web; two primary websites—the Early Childhood Learning and Knowledge Center and the OHS/ACF website; a mass emailing service for Head Start program staff and other interested parties; several @headstartgov social media accounts; and a NewsWatch media monitoring service.

CDRH is responsible for protecting and promoting public health by ensuring patients have access to high-quality medical devices and safe radiation-emitting products, and provides consumers, patients, their caregivers, and providers with understandable and accessible science-based information about the products the center oversees. Medical device innovation is facilitated by advancing regulatory science; providing industry with predictable, consistent, transparent, and efficient regulatory pathways; and ensuring consumer confidence in devices marketed in the United States. DAS Federal provides CDRH with such essential services as systems analysis, systems architecture, enterprise integration, data modernization, governance, and service delivery in support of CDRH’s important mission.

DAS Federal provides critical authentication, verification, validation, and protection of data, information systems, and resources. We support cyber infrastructure, agency information assurance, and operations that protect information and information systems. Our experience operating commercial, open-source, and custom cybersecurity tools and technologies allows IHS to fulfill its mandate via a full fidelity of analysis and quick triage of events. While every Service Organization Control has standard best practices, unique customer requirements and environments must be addressed and tuned to ensure appropriate identification, response, and recovery plans.
